71st Republic Day Celebration

26 January 1950,a day of honour for every Indian, a day which marks the birth of the Indian democracy .

The 71st Republic Day was celebrated with great fervour at Dharma International School on 26.January. 2020. The students took pride in glorifying and celebrating the spirit of unity and brotherhood.

The event began at 9.00am with the hoisting of the Indian National Flag by the revered Managing Director Mr L.S Butola, Principal Dr Swati Anand and Manager Mr T.S Rawat followed by the National Anthem.

The series of speeches brought a sense of Patriotism in the hearts and minds of all present. The students of four houses sang patriotic songs to mark the occasion. The entire school courtyard was resplendent in the shades of tri colour.

At the end of the programme, Managing Director Mr. L.S Butola in his address highlighted the significance of the day and made the students aware that the future of their country lies in their hands. Hence they need to study well and inculcate good values in life which will help them to be good citizens of the country.

The Principal Dr.Swati Anand in her exhorted speech urged the students to do their best and feel proud to be Indian. Besides, she congratulated the students for showing active participation in the programme.

On the other hand Manager Mr T.S Rawat also shared his thoughts and encouraged students on this day. He also thanked everybody for their presence on this auspicious day.

The programme ended with the distribution of sweets.
