Magic is a performing art that entertains the audience through seemingly impossible feats conducted by the use of tricks, illusion, sleight of hand and well practice moves. It has been a source of curiosity and fascination for children.

To break the monotonous routine of work, D.I.S organized a magic show under the banner of Red Cross Society in the school premises on 12-02-20, Wednesday.

The Red Cross Society is the voluntary humanitarian organization having a network of over 1100 branches throughout the country. The mission of the Indian Red Cross is to inspire, encourage and initiate at all times.

The society works in all the forms of humanitarian activities, providing relief in times of disasters, emergencies and promotes health and care of the people and communities.

The Magician Mr. N.K Sharma showed his magnificent and impressive skills in the show. The magic wand, the magic words, the spellbinding and the distinctive style of magician kept everybody astonished.

The magician performed various conjuring tricks on stage like joining of strips of clothes to make the Indian National Flag, took out many currency notes from an empty newspaper cone and milk from one of the student's ear were a few tricks to count which left the students astounded and mesmerized.The entire school campus was filled with laughter and happiness.

The humorous style of magician remained the students glued to the show until it ended. The show was a great success,the students and the teachers had a blast.
He also taught the students a few simple tricks.

At the end of the programme Principal, Dr. Swati Anand thanked Mr. N.K Sharma (magician) for making the morning cheerful and entertaining. She also praised the magician for his fanatical performances.
