Independence Day Celebration

73rd Independence day was celebrated on 15-August-2019, Thursday in the school premises with great fervour and enthusiasm. The programme was started with unfurl of National flag and was followed by National Anthem. Our Manager Mr. T.S. Rawat delivered the speech to the students on this day and motivated students to work hard for their better future.    To imbibe and foster the spirit of patriotism among the students an Inter-House Dance Competition based on the theme ‘National Unity’ was organised in the school campus.  Students of classes VI to X participated and showcased their dancing skills. Through their performances they conveyed the message of peace, trust and harmony. The vivacious dancers set the floor on fire with their energetic performance. Students wore bright and colourful attires and enthralled the audiences with their moves and expressions. 

At the end of the programme our Principal Dr. Swati Anand appreciated the efforts put in by all the four houses and she  also spoke few lines on this day and encouraged the students to contribute in the progress of the Nation and be a good citizen of the society.  She also stressed “If a country is to be Nation of beautiful mind there are three societal members who can make a difference in child’s life, they are the father, the mother and the teacher”.   At the end, sweets were distributed among the students.

          Ist Position   - Shaurya House

          II Position     - Ashoka House

          III Postition   - Paramveer House

          IV Position    - Mahaveer House

Janmasthami Celebration

The students of Dharma International School, Dehradun celebrated Janamasthami with great pomp and show on  22 August 2019, Thursday  in the school campus.

The little kids were very beautifully dressed up as Radha and Krishna to mark this day.

Students were informed about the incarnation of Lord Krishna on this occasion.

This was followed by a couple of group songs in which the tiny tots of pre- primary enjoyed a lot.

Rakhi Celebration

The little ones of Dharma International spent time in making ‘rakhis’ around the time of Raksha Bandhan on 14 August 2019, Wednesday.  To inculcate the meaning and importance of these traditions into the students school does all these activities.

Students made beautiful and fancy rakhis .Students were very excited and happy to participate in this activity. Students were also informed about the importance of raksha bandhan , the love and bond between the brother and sister and how the brother promised her sister to protect her from all evil and harm.  Our respected principal Mam Dr. Swati Anand and Sir T.S Rawat was part of the celebration and encouraged all the students with a few words.
