Conducted by CBSE, this workshop equipped educators with NEP 2020-aligned strategies to integrate art forms across disciplines.
The goal: Make classrooms more experiential, joyful, and culturally rooted.
Session Highlights
Expert Guidance: CBSE Resource Persons Ms Parul Rawat and Mrs Nidhi Rana demonstrated how to blend visual arts, music, theatre, and dance with subjects like Math, Science, Social Science, and Languages.
Hands-On Modules: Teachers created art-integrated lesson plans using rangoli for geometry, folk narratives for history, and rhythm for language patterns.
Assessment Shift: Focus on rubrics that value process, creativity, and concept clarity together.
Over 60 educators from multiple schools participated, collaborating to turn textbooks into canvases of imagination. A total of 15 teachers participated from our school in this Art Integration Capacity Building Program.
Art integration is not about adding art to the timetable. It is about using art to unlock understanding. We thank CBSE for empowering teachers to make learning come alive.
